Financial Gifts

Financial Gifts

People who live and work in our community continue to struggle with housing and food security. With your generous donations now and into the future, MOM can offer access to healthy food and warm clothing, and financial assistance to help cover the cost of rent, utilities and auto repairs. Thanks to you, our Seniors Program provides ride and chore assistance.

DONATE TODAY

Your unrestricted gift today in any amount can be used where needed to help children, parents, employees and neighbors in our community maintain housing and access to food, key determinants of well-being and health.

MATCHING GIFTS

Many companies offer a matching gift program to encourage charitable giving among their employees, including spouses and retirees. Contact your HR department to see if your company has a matching program that can increase the impact of your donation.

TRIBUTE GIFTS

You have the option to make your gift in honor or memory of someone special in your life.

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS

A donor advised fund (DAF) is a powerful way to build or continue a tradition of family philanthropy by establishing a charitable investment account, receiving an immediate tax deduction and recommending grants to your charities of choice over time. The investment growth is tax free. Please consult your financial advisor to learn more about setting up a DAF to benefit MOM.

IRAs

If you are 70½ or older, you are eligible to make charitable gifts directly from your individual retirement account (IRA). These gifts satisfy your required minimum distribution for the year and reduce your taxable income, all while allowing you to give pretax dollars to charity. Please consult with your personal financial advisor to learn more about supporting MOM through your IRA.

STOCKS

MOM accepts donations of shares of stock and mutual funds. Contact us at 608-826-3402 for more information.
