Hold a Fundraiser or Drive

** Due to COVID-19, please note that donation opportunities are limited.  Please refer to our COVID-19 Food Donation page for more information.

Make an impact on your own time and schedule.

MOM depends on both financial contributions and food drives in order to provide people with the resources they need.  You can help us by hosting a fundraiser or drive, or creating your own volunteer opportunity.

You can be as creative as you like! To decide what to focus your drive on, please read about the types of foods that we need including our current top 10 list.  We need other things such as clothing and household goods.

Before you begin, please make sure to contact our Distribution Center Manager.

Create your Own Volunteer Opportunity

  • Organize a food or clothing drive in your neighborhood, at your business, or faith community. Create a flyer using our Top Ten Needs list. Collect items and drop them off at the Distribution Center during donation hours or during our Food Pantry Tours.

  • Start a Food Buyer Club - one of the best ways to stretch your dollar, make a significant impact to ending hunger, and provide an opportunity for your book club, church group, or neighborhood.

  • Plant a garden and designate a row for the Food Pantry. Already have a garden planted? Help weed or pick vegetables to donate to the Food Pantry.

  • Organize a spare change contest, host a lemonade stand, or other fundraiser among family and friends.

Organize a neighborhood talent show, or a "kick-it-up-for-MOM" soccer-athon or dance-athon, and donate the admission to MOM.
