Donate Food and Clothing - COVID-19

Help end hunger in our community.
All are welcome at our food distribution, no matter where you live or your income.
At the direction of The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), we will continue to operate in a no-contact, drive-thru food distribution at least through the end of September 2021, but it may be longer.
We are accepting food and personal care donations, focusing ONLY on what is on our Top Ten List. We will also accept paper bags (plastic bags are not needed at this time).
Due to our current food distribution process, donated items that are not on our Top 10 list will likely not be utilized for quite some time. If you are purchasing items specifically for donation, please refer to the Top 10 list. The list is updated several times per month and reflects the items that are most beneficial to our clients and current process.
If you have large quantities of a specific item not on the list, please contact Shannon Ash, Program Director (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss the potential donation.
FOOD Donation Times
Because our staff and volunteers are not on site full-time and because our Food Pantry is not open standard weekly hours, donations should be brought to the Food Pantry Donation Door during the following times:
Mondays from 8:00-10:00 AM
Wednesdays from 2:00-4:00 PM
Fridays from 12:30-2:30 PM
our food distribution times as it is difficult to step away from our process to assist.
Follow the directions posted on the door when you arrive. Donations that are left outside our building outside of these donation hours will be discarded due to food safety concerns.

Cloth Face Masks
Cloth face masks are not needed at this time.
We are accepting seasonal clothing donations. Currently, we are accepting:
- Fall clothing, including jackets – all sizes; children's, women's and men’s
- Tennis shoes/sneakers - all sizes, children through adult
- Bedding all sizes – clean and washed (infant linens and throw blankets not needed at this time)
- Kitchen & bath towels
- Kitchenware - cookware and bakeware only, in good usable condition (glassware, dishes and utensils are not needed at this time.) No electrical items.
We do not have the storage capacity to accept other items. Please make sure all items are clean before donating.
CLOTHING DONATION TIMES
Because we are working with a small number of volunteers and because our staff is not on site full-time, clothing donations should be brought to the Clothing Center Door. Please follow the directions posted on the door when you arrive.
Our clothing donation drop off times are:
Mondays from 10:00–2:00
Wednesdays from 2:00–4:00
Fridays from 10:00–12:00
**Please do not come during our food distribution as it is difficult to step away from our process and assisting clients to accept the donation.
Items left at the Main Office or Clothing Center during non-donation drop off times will be thrown away due to hygiene concerns.
What your donation is worth
When you bring in your donation, you will be given a tax receipt.
A donation of food should be valued at its fair market value. This is usually the price paid at the grocery store or if the food is from a garden how much it would cost if purchased at a grocery store/farmers market. See IRS guidelines for further explanation.
