MOM Receives $10,000 Grant from Steve Stricker Foundation

We are excited to share that MOM received a $10,000 grant from the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation. Ellen Carlson, MOM Executive Director, attended the Grant Distribution Celebration on December 10 at American Family Insurance headquarters. Here, it was announced that the American Family Insurance Championship raised over $2 million this year, a significant increase over last year. Only in its third year, the event which took place in June and was attended by 65,000 spectators, has already raised more than $4.7 million for charity. Nearly half of the money raised will go to the American Family Children's Hospital. The other approximately $1 million was donated to local charities.  

We are grateful to the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation for their support in helping us end hunger and prevent homelessness in our community. Because of this grant, we will be able to provide more food, more warm clothes and more rental assistance to families who are most in need.
