Middleton High School Student Collects Over 400 Pounds of Hygiene Items
February 7, 2020 Youth and Families

Daniel Cooper is a freshman at Middleton High School who has already committed to making a difference in our community. This year, he conducted his second annual holiday drive to collect hygiene items for MOM.

Daniel checked MOM’s Most Needed Items list to figure out what donations MOM could use at that time. Then he put together a flyer highlighting some of these needed hygiene items including toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, laundry detergent, family sized shampoo and conditioner etc. Danielle delivered 160 of these flyers to his neighbors, encouraging them to purchase some of these and leave them on their doorstep for him to collect. The result was an amazing 400 pounds of hygiene items!

Thank you to Daniel and his neighbors! These essential items needed by everyone help families in our community regain stability as they are able to focus their resources on housing, utilities and other bills.
