Cross Plains Lions Club organizes community to make a difference
A huge thanks to the Cross Plains Lions adnd their city-wide MOM Back to School Program school supply drive! Collection barrels were placed at Terry's Market, World of Variety, Cross Plains Pharmacy, Walgreens, St. Frances Parish, Sisters on Main, and St. Martin's Church. In addition to supplies, $350 was donated to the program from Brat Stand proceeds.
Community donations in these barrels, combined with donations from Middleton and West Madison, helped over 600 students receive backpacks with grade-level supplies, with additional supplies reaching many students through area schools and organizations. The Back to School Program is just one of the ways that MOM works to Prevent Homelessness and End Hunger.
