In 1984, Oakwood Lutheran Church approached MOM and asked for assistance in determining the needs of seniors in our community.The result was the formation of The Project for Older People, known as POP. In 2010, the name of the program changed to Seniors Program. Yet through the years, the goals have stayed the same.Read More
When Janet’s husband passed away, it was hard not to let fear take over. In her 70s and now widowed, Janet didn’t know how she was going to make ends meet. Janet felt alone. Coming to MOM helped Janet fill her pantry with a supply of canned goods and helped her connect with neighbors who could help with a few chores.
