WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR MOM’S PROGRAMS & SERVICES?
Anyone living in Dane County is welcome to visit our Food Pantry. Please review our current information about our food distribution process.
CLOTHING CENTER, HOUSING ASSISTANCE and SEASONAL PROGRAMS
You must live in our service area to receive assistance. Our service area covers the Middleton Cross Plains School District and part of the west side of Madison (west of Midvale Boulevard and north of the Beltline.)
If you live in our service area, you must meet with a MOM case manager at our main office to register for our clothing, housing assistance or seasonal programs. MOM case managers may connect you to other resources based upon your individual needs.

In order to be eligible for the Seniors Program, you must live within MOM's Service Area and be 60 or older. There are no income limits.

Frequently Asked Question
What do I need to bring to an appointment?
Please bring proof of your address (a current utility bill or copy of your lease), proof of income (paycheck stubs, Unemployment Compensation, Social Security Statement, child support statement, etc), and identification for yourself and everyone who lives in your household (photo IDs for adults and birth certificates or social security cards for children).
What if I don't have all of the necessary information?
Please speak with a MOM Case Manager for ideas on how to get what is needed.
I lost my ID. Can MOM help me pay for another one?
Potentially, if you are otherwise eligible for MOM services. Speak with a Case Manager for more information.
Can I get a ride?
We only have ride services through the Senior Program.
Can I get a bus ticket out of town (Greyhound, etc.)?
We do not have resources to provide these tickets.
Does MOM help with phone bills?
No, this type of assistance is not available. A Case Manager can discuss other types of assistance that are available.
Can I use the Food Pantry the day of my appointment?
Yes, as long as the Food Pantry is still open that day. Once you see a MOM Case Manager and they say you are eligible, you may begin using the Pantry. MOM's office does have a limited number of emergency food bags available when the Food Pantry is closed.
How may days do I need to wait for an appointment?
We do our best to schedule appointments as quickly as possible. In most cases you are able to get in to see someone within a week.
