TDS Employee Honors MOM as He Retires

As Paul Harrison got ready to retire after a long and productive career at TDS Telecommunications LLC, he knew he wanted to mark the end of his career with something meaningful. So he asked his fellow TDS employees to make a donation to MOM in lieu of giving him a retirement party. Paul specifically wanted donations made to honor Al Ripp, former MOM Executive Director, and a former colleague of Paul’s at TDS. “Not many companies would recognize the spirit of an employee giving back to remember a co-worker who made an impact. That is one of the many reasons why I say I was blessed to work for TDS for almost 28 years,” Paul said.

MOM appreciated the $250 contribution made in Al’s honor. Pictured above (from left to right) are Paul Harrison and Jon Hammen from TDS Telecommunications LLC, with MOM Development Director, Patricia Eldred. The funds will be used to prevent homelessness and end hunger in our community—just as Al would’ve wanted.
