Holding on to Hope
At MOM, we seek to treat every family with dignity and to match them with services that best meet their needs. Recently, we received this letter about our work with one family:
"You've called me by my name. You've been so gracious and kind in so many ways. You've provided shoes when we had none, coats when we've been cold and clothing when my children grew and grew and grew! These past two years have been beyond difficult. We suffered through many losses - yet we never lost hope! Thank you for providing food for our family when we needed it most. Thank you for taking the burden of Back to School off us and giving school supplies to my kids. Thank you for giving us a Christmas when truly we had nothing to give. Thank you for always making my children feel welcome and finding just what we needed. It hasn't been an easy time. We have been humbled and will always remember with thankful hearts all MOM did during our time without a job and my cancer."
