Can you help me be an engineer?
Sam is always curious. In class and at home, he constantly asks questions, eager to understand everything around him. He especially loves science and says he wants to build rockets at NASA. Lately though, Sam is irritable with his friends and acts out in class regularly. Nobody guesses that the real problem is that Sam is hungry—and Sam isn’t about to tell anyone.
Did you know that hunger affects children’s behavior? Children who are hungry are more anxious and irritable and are more likely to have problems with their teachers at school. These children often feel isolated and ashamed.
You can change things for Sam. Your gift this Giving Tuesday can get Sam the nutrition he needs to be healthy and feel good. And then, Sam can turn his attention back to rockets and space.
