Future Foam Gleans and Delivers Fresh Veggies to MOM

Each year, at the end of the growing season, employees from Future Foam, led by Scott Diaczun, trek out to The Tree Farm, a U-Pick farm in Cross Plains, to rescue the final vegetables of the season before they are plowed under. The produce is then donated to MOM. Although this year, conditions brought a cool 33 degrees and a bit of mud, the Future Foam team prevailed.

The charity with the most votes at each of 39 Wisconsin Old National Bank branches received $1000 from Old National Bank. Middleton Outreach Ministry was the winner for the Middleton branch.

MOM was one of eight nonprofits chosen by Adams Outdoor Advertising for their Adams Collaborate program. Star Wars Food Drive Benefits Families

Thanks to Fairway Independent Mortgage for hosting a creative and fun food drive to benefit MOM and help feed families in our community. The event, a Star Wars movie morning, was designed as a way to show appreciation to their clients. Owner Mike and employee Monica, decided to turn the gratitude event into further kindness by collecting food as their guests entered the theater. Middleton Outreach received 110 pounds of food collected for just 1 hour prior to the movie. What a great idea! Hy-Vee's One Step Program Feeds Local Families

Our partners at Hy-Vee provide assistance to both MOM and Second Harvest to help increase food security for people in our community through their One Step program. When customers purchase these One Step products, a portion of the proceeds is donated to "help feed people who are unable to feed themselves. It's one small step, one meal at a time."
